SHORT BIO

Scott Daniels

From the nightmare of SW Houston suburbia comes guitarist Scott Daniels. Born in the sixties, Scott has given up trying to settle on any particular style. In his own words, " I've found that too many times I've said 'I'm a (insert genre) guitar player,' and then I end up doing something very different." So another rock n roller attempts to transcend the labels and make what we call "beautiful music." Mixing country be-bop alongside 60's\70's guitar rock, Scott dutifully accompanies his fellow musicians blending in right alongside until he assumes the spotlight to hit it hard.

In the last 5 years, while continuing his musical workings with Greg Wood, Scott has jammed right next to Carolyn. His guitar work with these two songwriting giants leaves no doubt to his immense talents, but apparently, according to Scott..."I'm sort of an apprentice when it comes to songwriting." Scott has co-written many songs; he admittedly, and only recently, is writing on his own and producing his first solo project.

Over the years as Carolyn Wonderland's co-conspirator, Scott gained much of the practical experience musically, touring, recording, writing, suffering to provide artistic integrity to the music they all make (and we all love), but the missing piece to his success..."if only the money would come through to make a living at this career," then he might call it a success. Well Mr. Daniels, I think you have triumphed artistically. The financial necessity humanizes your talent and reminds us we're all singing that same song together. You Rock, man!
